May 12, 2021

For many bingo players, bingo night isn’t just about playing bingo and the potential for winning cash and prizes. For them, it’s about everything. It’s the ambiance, the comradery, the anticipation, and believe it or not, the food also plays an important part of the experience.

While pizza, hot dogs, hamburgers, maid rites, pork tenderloins, and nachos seem to be standard fare, there’s a whole range of snacks that are a huge hit with bingo players around the world. Some of them are regional favorites while others are newly created concoctions sure to delight the taste buds and satisfy the desire to snack while playing bingo.

Think about homemade angel food cake drenched in fresh strawberries and whipped cream or open roast beef sandwiches topped with mozzarella cheese and caramelized onions. Bingo Lings, located at the Robinson Hotel and Casino in Nice, California features Asian fusion dishes such as udon noodles and stir fry reminiscent Mongolian grills.

Of course you don’t have to go to the bingo hall or the casino to enjoy some of the great snack foods that are featured. You can bring the bingo concession stand home, and create these tasty treats in your own kitchen and enjoy them while playing bingo in the comfort of your own home. Most of them are easy to make up for a bingo party.

Another super-easy snack food perfect for bingo night is cheese and pepperoni pizza bombs as created by Amy Derosier. These can be made up just before you sit down to a game of bingo.
